Great 2nd gen Video doorbell
Already have the original blink video doorbell on my disabled parents door to monitor callers which works great with local storage. Bought the 2nd gen one for myself which is even better with better resolution and better field of view and visibility. The app works well to, being able to view both cameras at different locations is great. Setting up and connectivity was very easy and the detection works well. My only negative is that it's not supplied with the angle adaptor that came with the 1st gen version.

Can’t set up
Bought this then when opened to set up wouldn’t let me unless I bought a separate device to connect it to then wouldn’t let us return it for a refund because box was open which it had to be open to find out you need the other thing to set it up which they don’t sell separate

Better than 1st gen.
I bought this as I enjoyed the previous gen. This isn’t much better. They’re still a tad too slow but it has a fish eye lens so gets lots of coverage and visibility is great.

Bargain doorbell
works well at a fraction of the cost of a ring doorbell

Does the job quite well.
Very easy to install and connect to my home WiFi network, with good instructions supplied. Image quality is very good unless there is rain on the lens, whereupon the image is very poor to the extent that you can’t make anything out. Excellent field of detection, which can be customised to suit. I never realised how busy our front door is. I’ve racked up over a hundred clips in the Blink app in just 3 weeks. Batteries are still showing as good. WiFi and app connection, as well as linking to Amazon Alexa devices, gives prompt notifications of someone at the door on those devices in the house and to our mobile phone wherever you are. Overall I’m happy.

Doesn't work
I bought this a month ago and very disappointed, it only works when it feels like it, no view when doorbell is used and if it does it takes ages to appear after the bell has been rung ,street view works sometimes but rarely, as suggested I have rebooted and reset, done everything suggested. According to what is said on Google others have had the same problems, so it is going back !!!
