BaByliss Titanium Shine Professional Hair Straightener

Not good quality

My current straighteners are getting quite old now so was looking forward to trying out a new pair. They look and sounds like quality straighteners that would benefit my long thick hair. However when I tried them out I was disappointed. The wire for them is really short. I needed an extension lead in order to use whereas with my current straighteners, I don’t. They didn’t straighten my hair quite as smoothly as usual, and didn’t leave much of a shine that it stated. The worst part for me was the quality. They look good quality, but when I would clamp down on my hair, they would make a clicking sound which to me feels like bad quality. I prefer my current straighteners than these, my current straighteners being years old. So unfortunately these will not be being used.

Perfectly straight or curly!

These straighteners are great. I have used them to straighten my hair perfectly but also following some online videos I managed to curl my hair really nicely too, just in time to my Christmas party. Everyone commented on my lovely curly hair!

Good striaghtner but needs few design tweaks

I’ve been using the BaByliss Titanium Shine Professional Hair Straightener and overall I’m quite impressed. It’s lightweight and easy to handle, heats up really quickly, and glides through the hair nicely. It leaves my hair feeling smooth, sleek and properly straight with a lovely finish, which is exactly what you want from a straightener. That said, there are a couple of little things that let it down. The plug wire isn’t very long, which feels quite restrictive, especially compared to other straighteners I’ve used that have much longer leads. It also doesn’t have a clip or lock to keep the plates together when it’s heating up or once you’ve finished, which would have been useful. I’ve also noticed that when you press the tongs together, they can feel like they slightly stick rather than closing smoothly. Overall, it does a great job straightening and gives really nice results, but a few small design tweaks would make it even better.

Super sleek, shiny hair

I have very thick, unruly hair. I wasn’t expecting a great deal from these, I’ve tried so many brands out there but these did actually make a difference! My hair was straight, sleek and shiny. Perfect.

My Holy Grail Hair Tool!

They are just amazing. My hair genuinely looks healthier and shinier after using them - not fried or dull. The titanium plates glide through my hair like butter, and they don't snag or pull at all. Amazing quality for super quick styling

These straighteners are great. They feel good quality and come with a heat protection mat which can be wrapped around the straighteners for storage. They are easy to use and heat up to your desired temperature quickly. They are easy to operate and the display is easy to read. These straighteners have given me a super smooth and straight finish in minutes on my medium length, frizz prone hair. The style also holds well. Overall I am very impressed with these mostly with the speed in which they heat up.

Fantastic results!

I’m so impressed with these straighteners! They feel solid & robust, they are quick to heat up & you can select the temperature you prefer depending on your hair type. I have thick frizzy hair & these give me straight sleek results without having to go over & over each section too many times. I haven’t experienced any hair snags / pulls when straightening my hair with them. I only have one negative & it’s not major, but I would have liked the electric chord to be a little longer. Compared to my last straighteners it is much shorter. This may not be a problem for everyone if your plug socket isn’t too far from where you wish to straighten your hair. That being said it doesn’t affect the quality of these straighteners & I still would highly recommend them.

Great product that works well on frizzy hair

The Babyliss Titanium Shine Styler is overall a fantastic product. My hair is naturally frizzy and curly, but these effortlessly straightened my hair and definitely added shine. There was no pulling on the hair during use and no ‘heat lines’ occurred by the roots. However, I did find that they are a little heavier than other straighteners I’ve had in the past, which although wasn’t a problem for me, could be for someone else. Also the bubble symbols on the casing appear to be where the casing gets hotter and the way I held the straighteners, I occasionally touched a hotter part of the casing. Again, this could be unique to me, but something to be aware of. It definitely isn’t hot enough to burn, but is hotter than the lower part of the casing/handle.
