Legion GO S: Fantastic performance and quality.
I’ve been absolutely blown away by the Lenovo Legion Go S. From the moment I started using it, it’s been clear this is a premium handheld built for serious gaming. Performance is outstanding — games run smoothly with excellent visuals, and the screen is bright, sharp, and a real pleasure to use. The controls feel solid and responsive, and the ergonomics make long gaming sessions comfortable with no hand strain. What really impressed me is how versatile it is. Whether I’m gaming on the sofa, travelling, or docking it for a more PC-like setup, it handles everything effortlessly. Battery life has been better than expected for a device this powerful, and build quality feels robust and well thought out. Overall, this has easily exceeded my expectations. If you’re looking for a powerful, well-built handheld gaming device that delivers console-quality performance on the go, I couldn’t recommend the Lenovo Legion Go S enough.

Get yourself one!
The Lenovo Legion Go is a seriously impressive bit of kit. Games run really smoothly, and I’ve been surprised by just how good they look on the high-resolution display. Performance has been solid, with quick load times and no major issues so far. Having easy access to my Steam library is a huge plus, and the controls feel responsive and well designed. Overall, it’s a powerful handheld that’s easy to pick up and use — I’d 100% recommend it.

I'm more than pleased
I brought this device after being slightly underwelmed by the switch 2 ( I loved the switch 2 but the games are just too expensive.) So I brought this at a discounted price and it's perfect. Runs on steam so you can get AAA games for more affordable prices. It's got a wonderful screen and can play demanding games like cyberpunk 77 and also games like days gone and dying light. You do have the option of tinkering with the desktop mode that uses Linux. Two things that may be considered a con The battery life is not great. ( I mostly play plugged in so I don't care Cooling fans generate noise. I wear headphones so I don't notice it. Overall it's fantastic . You will need a case screen protector and a docking station to make the most out of it. Honestly a great budget device.

Go for it you won’t regret it
I bought this as an upgrade to my base Steam Deck and it’s so much more powerful than that and the fact it runs Steam OS as well it was a no brainer it’s just better and playing games in 1080p at over 60 fps is amazing

Amazing portable device
Amazing product! Battery life is about an hour to an hour and a half but thats due to the high display/ graphics and processor, definitely worth investing in if you are after a portable gaming device

Legion go or way to go
I'm having a blast with this handled. It allows me to play all the titles I've accumulated within all my libraries. The screen is a pleasure for the eyes and if you have a main pc, you can play more demanding games streaming them thanks to steam link. 10/10.

Hello rob
Lenovo Legion Go S SteamOS Handheld Gaming Console - Black
Yes, the detachable controllers of the Lenovo Legion Go can be paired via Bluetooth to other PCs and phones, acting like separate or single controllers, but they cannot directly be used as a controller for an Xbox or another Legion Go console.
Using the Controllers with other Devices:
PC (Windows): The controllers can connect to any Windows PC via Bluetooth. The PC will recognize them as generic "Xbox joycons".
Single Controller Mode: Each detached controller can be used sideways as an individual controller (similar to a Nintendo Switch Joy-Con) for multiplayer games, with access to its specific joystick and face buttons.
Combined Controller Mode: By default, connecting both controllers separately via Bluetooth results in the PC seeing two independent controllers, which doesn't work for most games that require a single input device. To use both as a single, combined controller for one player on another PC, you may need third-party software or a special connecting accessory that is available for purchase separately.
Other Handhelds (e.g., Steam Deck): The Bluetooth connectivity allows the Legion Go controllers to potentially pair with other handhelds running compatible operating systems, provided the host device accepts standard Bluetooth Xinput HID (Human Interface Device) inputs.
Xbox Consoles: The Legion Go controllers cannot be used as a controller for an Xbox console because the Xbox does not support the required connectivity or drivers for the device. You would need a standard Xbox controller for that.
Drones: While it is theoretically possible for a drone's control app on a PC or phone to recognize the Legion Go controllers as an input device, there is no official support or specific functionality for this use case. Compatibility would depend entirely on the specific drone's software.
In short, the controllers have good flexibility, especially with PCs, but are limited to the PC ecosystem and cannot natively function as a standard controller for dedicated consoles like the Xbox.

Hello Fazz
Lenovo Legion Go S SteamOS Handheld Gaming Console - Black
Yes, you can play Xbox games on the Lenovo Legion Go S SteamOS Handheld Gaming Console - Black, but with some caveats, as the console runs SteamOS and not Windows natively. You can primarily use Xbox Cloud Gaming or remote play, but cannot natively install the PC Game Pass app or its games without modifying the operating system.
Methods for Playing Xbox Games:
Xbox Cloud Gaming (Streaming): This is the most straightforward method on SteamOS. You can access the Xbox Cloud Gaming (Beta) service through a web browser like Microsoft Edge, which can be installed in Desktop mode and added to your Steam library for easy access in Gaming mode. This method requires an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
Remote Play: You can stream games installed on your actual Xbox console to your Legion Go S using the XBplay app available in the Steam store (for a small fee) or by using a browser-based method.
Installing Windows (Advanced): The Lenovo Legion Go S is a PC, so you have the option to wipe SteamOS and install the Windows operating system, or set up a dual-boot configuration. Installing Windows allows you to use the native Xbox app and locally install PC Game Pass games, but it is a more involved process and may require some technical know-how (like finding specific drivers beforehand). Note that PC Game Pass is officially only available on Windows models of Lenovo devices.
