I have been very pleased with my purchase of a Omron M3 Essentials Blood Pressure Monitor.I was able to get one with a smaller sleeve which made taking a reading easier.It is comfortable and easy to operate not like others I have purchased in the past.

I bought this 2 weeks ago as my husband had been told to take his blood pressure morning and evening by his doctor, as he was having a treatment session at hospital when his bloods pressure went up too high and the treatment had to be stopped. The hospital said to see his GP to sort his blood pressure and rebook his appointment. We have found the Omron blood pressure monitor to be excellent, easy to use, accurate and comfortable. It was available from Argos immediately although he had to wait until the next day to get he extra large cuff, other that than I don’t know where we would have got the monitor and large cuff. Argos is my go to place to most things as the town we live in doesn’t have much available.

The M2 monitor does have a mains input connection.
I use mine without batteries. Omron sell an optional extra mains plug for it. You can also purchase one from BHF for half the price of the one from Omron.
If Argos tell you its batteries only then they are wrong.

This is the AC adapter jack (for optional AC adapter).
The monitor doesn't come with the power cable; it's just an optional addition if you prefer to use main powered opposed to batteries.
