Customers Say
The Ninja Foodi PossibleCooker is versatile and easy to use with great rice and slow cooker functions, but many users find the slow cooker settings problematic due to high heat and lack of a medium setting. Non-stick coating durability is also a concern.

Needs a frying pan.
Bought this when it first came out as I'm a 90 year old who looks after himself in the main. After watching a video demonstrating it being used for cooking bacon and eggs I tried it myself and bought another two as presents. The one thing I realised was it needs a shallow bowl with single long handle to be used as a frying pan because no matter how good the non-stick coating it will still suffer when frying and a deep bowl is dangerous when lifting out fried eggs as tongs are not designed for that. Otherwise it's great at doing everything else.

Not a slow cooker
Just purchased this after my slow cooker eventually gave up the ghost. I would not purchase this if you’re after a slow cooker. The high function is far too high, it seems to boil furiously. The first thing I made in it was rice pudding which boiled over and managed to get stuck underneath the hot plate, I’m still picking out bits of rice now! I also don’t like the fact that the minimum time setting on ‘Lo’ is 6 hours, I had a recipe that called for cooking at low for 4 hours and couldn’t change the time so I had to set the timer on my phone to remind me to turn it off after 4 hours. Really wanted to love it but I don’t so far i’m afraid. I wouldn’t be happy leaving this left on to cook a stew for example whilst I was out, it needs watching over which partially defeats the object.

Don't buy this as a rice cooker
I bought this because ChatGPT told me that this was the better rice cooker to purchase on the market. However, when I tried to use this the item never seemed to go over to the warm function so you don't know when it's cooked. It doesn't switch of or turn to warm (as it suggests) I tried three times to cook rice and each time the rice was a disaster. The instructions are not easy so even if you refer to what you believe is to be the normal water/rice ratio it just doesn't cook well at all. I don't believe this particular item is fit for purpose when it comes to cooking rice, maybe good for other things only. If you want a rice cooker buy rice cooker.

Good quality but not a great slow cooker
I love all my Ninja priducts, and I have many but I used my 6l rice/slow cooker today for the 1st time. The high setting is really way to high and the food was fiercly bubbling away and nearly caught the bottom of the pan after only 3hrs, thankfully I was home. I have another ninja slowcooker (the one with a presure cooker) and leave that all day on high with no issues. Not sure I would go to work and leave this on high. I agree with other commrnts that this machine would beneft from having a medium setting. Rice cooker setting was good and made lovely fluffy rice.

Awful! This is not a slow cooker - DONT BUY ONE
Unbelievably poor product from Ninja considering how good some of their other products are. Please take notice of all the 1 star reviews for this product as they all describe the same exact problem and are 100% correct, the reviews are all speaking the truth about this poorly designed product. The problem with this ‘slow' cooker is it only has two heat settings available to choose from High or Low and neither slow cook. I can’t understand why they would not have added a medium heat option when designing it, crazy. On the High setting it is way too hot and violently boils your food. On Low it warms your food to luke warm temps rather than cooks it. There is no slow cooker setting to slow cook with, despite the product being described as a 'slow cooker’. I can't understand how anyone can give this product a 5-star review, i would give it a 0 start if i could. Ninja should be pulling this product or addressing the obvious issue with their substandard design. Both myself and a sibling are having to return our slow cookers after one use as they serve no purpose and can’t slow cook.

Hello TM,
Thanks for your interest in our Foodi PossibleCooker, ! Be sure we can clarify this. At the moment, the product only includes 8 programs: Sear/Sauté, Slow Cook, White Rice, Brown Rice, Pasta, Porridge, Steam, Keep Warm. None of these are designed to fully deep-fry.
Kind regards,
Ninja Kitchen UK
Yes, the Slow Cook has two temperatures, High or Low, selectable with the Temp arrows. Low is adjustable 6 to 12 hours, High 2 to 12 hours. Sear Sauté also offers High, Medium, or Low if you need more heat up front. It is normal for Slow Cook to look gentle rather than boiling; keep the lid closed.
