Worth it

I did wonder whether it would be worth spending so much on a blender but after a few weeks use it definitely was. I make a lot of soup and this produces perfectly smooth results.

Good but should be great

Getting this on the spring sale, I was excited to purchase this blender at a great price to compliment my stand mixer. My work kitchen has this model so I was confident I’d like it. However, my unit seems to be of slightly worse build quality, the dial to select speed/programmes feels quite flimsy - like it might break off and considering this is the main way to interact with the blender, it’s a detail that has to be right for the price point. The silver band that goes around the base is also loose. Whilst the blender performs wonderfully I expected the quality to match that of the stand mixer in the Artisan line.

Fantastic. The whole build is beyond expectation. I'm so pleased it's worth every penny It's very versatile for soups, ice crushing smoothies and ginger shots the various speeds are ideal and the.Blender finds no trouble doing any process . Nobody hides the K400 in a corner

The blender looks very stylish and pride of place on the countertop, which is a good job because it is heavy, you don’t want to be moving it about. It feels very robust though, so long may it last. The lid has a good seal and a middle aperture should you need to add more ingredients without having to take the whole lid off. The dial is straight forward from slow to fast. I can’t comment on the specific settings for ice crushing and smoothies etc as not used them yet, but the idea of being able to blend a hot soup in the glass jug appeals hence why I went for this one and not one with a plastic jug. I bought this blender mainly for blending ingredients for my Ninja Creami ice cream recipes and it’s doing a fine job, it blends beautifully. I also liked the fact that you can purchase a smaller attachment for smaller portions if needed and a juicer if needed too, so the options are there. It’s easy to clean as it has a self cleaning facility. The glass jug is heavy but it just lifts on and off the base which is easy. This is the very first stand alone blender I have purchased. Yes it isn’t cheap, but you get what you pay for. A stylish, robust easy to use blender that gives good results. I have only had it a very short time, so only time will tell on its longevity but I have had a kitchen aid stand mixer for years and that’s still going strong.
