I bought this item when on sale £39:99p excellent value easy to set up and install cable is of very good length about 3m long does not come with as card so have to purchase separate but really good value

Does the job
Seems to be doing the job. Only issue is that connection is a USB C-type NOT micro USB as per pictures, so had to rewire.

Great little dash cam
This is a nice little dash cam which sits behind my rear view mirror, and is unobtrusive. Installation was very easy, just stick to window and run power cable under car interior trim to power source.

Compact quality.
Was looking for an unobtrusive dash cam & this fitted the bill. Instructions for positioning it on windscreen indicated above & left of rear view mirror, on my car this would be an area not cleared by wipers, so placed it slightly below mirror, but still out of line of sight when driving. Found it easier than anticipated to route cable around window, ‘A’ pillar & glove box, so cable is now almost invisible. You have to download a Road Angel app to adjust settings & view videos (note: it is possible to view footage without the app by inserting the micro sd card into a phone or digital photo frame). However, beware there are several Road Angel apps! The first I downloaded would not open due to ‘a bug’ (it said), the second refused to connect via Wi-Fi, finally I discovered the correct app was Halo Playback (shows on an orange/red background). Once I sorted that I was able to alter settings to my liking, eg the G sensor was activating emergency recording by going over a cattle grid & time/date needed correcting, also beware that the device records audio (ie your private conversations), which can be turned off via the app. Other than those issues, it records very clear images with good depth of field, copes well in full on sun or twilight/darkness with oncoming headlights. I would like to have had a micro sd card included (can’t use it without one!), though buying the dash cam from Argos for £39.99 versus £79.99 direct from Road Angel covered the cost of a 32GB card. I’ve found that removing the device, plugging it into a Samsung phone charger & then connecting via Wi-Fi to phone/tablet is easiest way to review footage. As a new user of a dash cam, I would recommend this Road Angel product.

Bought recently, mount is compact and has quick release facility which is useful. Images are clear and works with app. Instructions could be better with regard to the clear plastic film, I still don’t know what to do with it!

Even if the car is parked for months it will not drain the battery.''
