Very Pleased Waffle Cotton Cover
First I have changed to Scandinavian style and bought TWO SINGLE duvets as opposed to one king sized duvet. Lowest tog. Purchased the new style waffle cotton covef It is noticeably fresher and more breathable. They arrived just before the heatwave! Washed up (much easier to fit in washing machine) well. No more wrestling with duvet covers! They look so fresh.

We have two of the cotton waffle ones and love them. I can't understand where the reviewer who says its scratchy is coming from...bizzarre not at all our experience. They feel very luxurious.would buy in super king if they did it and would happily launder at the launderette if too large for the home washing machine.

The convenience of not having to change duvet covers is highly appreciated. The ease of laundering, simply by machine washing, is a significant advantage. Furthermore, the rapid drying time is a notable benefit.

Stick to the microfiber range, NOT these cotton.
Horrendously scratchy and takes an eternity to dry. The cotton cover is thick which I'm assuming is a sign of good quality, however it is horribly scratchy despite having now had in excess of 20 washes. I follow instructions to not over use fabric softener (we don't use any and use Vinegar instead). We have also don't bicarb/vinegar washes to soften with little effect. Add to the scratchyness that it is impossible to get the duvet dry in the same day as washing without tumble drying for AT LEAST 3Ā½ hours, with removal and reinsertion every 30 minutes to uncrumple the persistent damp areas. All in all, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, we bought these this time round as an "upgrade", having had the Night Owl Linen Print duvet set for around 4 years. Severely regretting the choice. A pricey mistake to make given the cost. I would hope for maybe at least a partial refund? We are going to have to replace not 1 but TWO King Size sets less than 6 months after buying this one. I would give it 0 stars if it let me.

Waffle coverless duvet
This is the third waffle coverless divet I have purchased. They are very light and warm, they can be easily washed and dried and, more importantly, there is no battle trying to put a cover back on it.
