About this product
If you're after a monitor that wraps your entire field of vision in the action, this Samsung Odyssey 49-inch curved gaming display is built for that. With a 5120x1440 Dual QHD resolution stretched across a 1000R curve, it gives you the kind of panoramic view that pulls you right into the game. The 144Hz refresh rate and 1ms response time mean fast-paced action stays smooth and responsive, and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro keeps screen tearing at bay when things get intense. It's a proper ultra-wide setup, so you're getting a 32 by 9 aspect ratio that's basically two QHD monitors side by side.
The screen supports VESA DisplayHDR 600, which brings out deeper blacks and brighter whites so you can spot details even in darker scenes. There's an ergonomic stand that tilts to get your viewing angle just right, and if you'd rather mount it, it's VESA compatible at 100x100mm. Connectivity's covered with 2 HDMI ports, 1 DisplayPort, and 3 USB 3.0 ports for peripherals. Brightness hits 350cd per m2, with a contrast ratio of 2500 to 1. It comes with a 2-year manufacturer's guarantee, so you've got solid coverage if anything goes wrong.

Fantastic monitor
Really love the monitor. I use for both work and for Xbox. The extra screen space for work helps with productivity massively and the picture is great for Xbox games.

Monitor Envy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Monitor envy: It's super-wide, adjustable for height tilt and rotate, on a sturdy stand. Worked straight out of the box. Open multiple applications, documents, email and watch WinTV too. All visible without the annoying dual-screen bezel in the centre of your eyeline. SWMBO is very happy. Installation: It's very heavy and cumbersome to move on your own. Ask your friend or neighbour to help. Warranty registration: Annoyingly, when you come to register the monitor (and the box has gone in the recycling) the model/serial number is underneath and cables obscure the photo taken on a phone. Take a photograph of the serial numbers on the box or before you fit the stand. Recyling ££ incentive: The delivery team collected a working Samsung LCD monitor that had provided 20 years of excellent service.

It’s huge!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the Samsung 49” Odyssey G91F 144Hz for a few weeks, and it’s been a game changer. The ultra wide 32:9 display with a 1000R curve offers incredible immersion perfect for games like Flight Simulator and Cyberpunk 2077. The 144Hz refresh rate and low input lag make it great for competitive gaming too, with smooth, responsive performance and G-Sync or FreeSync support. Other than gaming, it's excellent for multitasking. You can have two regular sized windows at once without a problem excellent for productivity. The VA panel delivers rich colors and good contrast, and the HDR, although not optimal, is still good enough for most material. It’s well made. The screen can be tilted left:right and up/down. Very strong hinges. It's a huge screen, so make sure you've got space for it, and not every game natively supports 32:9. Generally, though, the G91F is an ultra wide high end monitor that doesn't fail on performance or immersion. Seriously worth it if you're serious about gaming or you really need serious real estate on screen.

pricey but worth it !
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] From my experience, the Samsung Odyssey G9 G91F has been incredible. The 49” curved screen fully immerses me in games, and the 144Hz refresh rate with 1ms response time makes everything feel ultra-smooth. The build quality is solid and premium, and the connectivity options — HDMI, DisplayPort, and USB hub — are more than enough for my setup. Performance-wise, it’s fast, vibrant, and handles multitasking with ease. Ergonomically, the stand is sturdy with good height and tilt adjustments, though the size means you need a deep desk. It’s a big investment, but for me, it’s been absolutely worth it.

Hello Jeff,
Samsung Odyssey 49 Inch 144Hz Dual QHD Curved Gaming Monitor
The resolution for this monitor is 5120 x 1440 pixels, so this does not support 4K
Thanks for using Q&A
Xbox limits
Xbox Series X and Series S do not natively support ultrawide resolutions like 32.9 or 21.9.
The consoles will output a standard 16.9 aspect ratio
So - Yes, an Xbox Series X or S can be used with a 49-inch ultrawide monitor, but it will not display in the monitors full ultrawide aspect ratio typically 329. Instead, the console will output a 169 image, which will be scaled to fit the monitor, potentially resulting in black bars or some stretching.
Thank you for this question.
Yes, the 49" Odyssey G91F 144Hz Gaming Monitor cab be connected to your Xbox via HDMI or through the DisplayPort.
We hope this helps.
