Great buy...
Had this for a few weeks and very pleased. Firstly for a 40 inch tv with freely,so no cables, its sub £200..You have to wait whilst selecting stations but we are talking seconds so no problem..the picture is good for this size tv ,I have no complaints with clear sharp viewing..The sound is adequate but could be better...All in all I am very pleased,easy to set up and not heavy for wall mounting..you cant go wrong..

Only bought this a few days ago and so far am pleased with it. Using as a 2nd tv and have cancelled multiroom as there are plenty of free tv channels to watch. Good value and easy to set up too

Bought this as my daughters first bedroom TV (19yrs) Really good clear picture and very easy to set up. Normal tv channels built in with freely and all the big streaming platforms are supported even Netflix with ads which older tvs don't. Can't believe the price for such an awesome tv. Think I'll get one for us now 😀

Bought tv a couple of days ago and absolutely love it, so easy to set up but didn't find the stand overly sturdy (not a problem though as I have put it on the wall) love the fact it's ariel and subscription free too

Our supplier has advised that the Hisense 40 Inch 40E4QTUK Smart FHD HDR LED Freely TV is designed for use with modern digital broadcast standards and does not support SECAM analogue tuning. As SECAM is an older analogue system historically used in countries such as France, the TV would not be able to receive French TV channels via an aerial using SECAM.
However, in France, terrestrial TV is now broadcast using digital standards (DVB-T/T2), so the TV should work when connected to an aerial, provided the signal is digital.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Hisense 40 Inch 40E4QTUK Smart FHD HDR LED Freely TV: Here’s a simple guide on how to connect a speaker to your TV. The method depends on what type of speaker you have:
HDMI ARC
If your speaker or soundbar supports HDMI:
Connect an HDMI cable to the TV port labeled “HDMI (ARC)”
Connect the other end to your speaker’s HDMI ARC port
On the TV, go to Settings → Sound → Audio Output → select ARC
This gives the best sound quality and lets you control volume with the TV remote.
Optical cable
If your speaker has an optical (SPDIF) input:
