Well it's a good picture for the price.
The stand is awful so this is probably a better buy if you're going to hang it on the wall. Some of the reviews mention a missing metal plate in the stand - Bush won't send you the plate, even though I can see one would fit in there. I presume the plate actually might be for bigger size TVs? Btw - the company that own Argos also own Bush... I use it without an aerial - the reason I bought it - and I just use Freely. A few times I have had to unplug it and reboot because it kept cutting out. Nothing wrong with my internet each time (iPad worked). Just to mention - the power cord is on the right hand side and is quite short? I wanted it for an over the bed table - even if I had a socket on the right it wouldn't have reached. The forward, backward, etc., controls on the remote are right at the bottom and the buttons are small, so if you miss the start of a programme, and want to go back a bit, it's not that easy. I kind of felt that manufacturers don't really 'get' how people use TVs now. Quite often the pause button doesn't seem to work. Manufacturers still put the number buttons at the top / use up half the space on the remote? Does that really reflect how people use it nowadays? I usually go to a different channel using the 'guide'? I'm sure that's what a lot of people do also. There's no 'menu' button? Only a 'settings' button. I can't see any way to delete channels (or set them as 'favourites') - so on Freely I've got every version of BBC1 - South, South-East, etc. - and BBC2, etc. Which is a pain. You will also need to go to the advanced sound settings if you want to use wired headphones because the default setting is the sound is set to zero? You need to move it up to something like 70. You can leave them plugged in, but you have to go to 'settings, sound, sound output' to listen through them. There's no quick way to do this (not helped by a warning notice, that you have to click OK, as you scroll through the selection) and it's a pain. Note there is NO Bluetooth so you can't use wireless headphones. TV has a good picture, but I wish I'd taken a bit longer to decide and paid slightly more. You can only de-select the apps. You can't delete them. And you can't add any either. Also 'powered by Tivo' - you might think you can record programmes? You can't.
