A really nice blind at a reasonable price. Some form of wood, so not plasticky, and avoids the horrible fake grain that many of these have. Great to have a 110cm wide as these are really hard to find. Removing slats to size took a minute, but fairly straightforward.
Thought it was a little expensive but it was exactly what we were after, size, colour etc, so we made the purchase, and the quality is good.. Delivery didn't take too long. My basic DIY skills allowed me to mount the fixings, although the instructions aren't the best. Pictures are too small and there is very little written explanation, you have to work it out for yourself.
Pictures didn't match the supplied fittings and there are couple of bits left over that I cannot find a use for, so hoping they weren't important.
Overall, once fitted it looks great and works well.
I brought this blind in white for my kitchen to replace a roller blind and it has absolutely transformed my kitchen window. It is well made and very good quality, easy to install solid and sturdy i am more than happy with my purchase
This blind was great wen I got the third one first two came damaged if the box had more bubbles wrap or cardboard round the blind for protection in transit the blind would not have been damaged but third time lucky it came with no damage but paint on blind in every easy to mark so bee carful well putting it up got a little mark on one slat but I can live with that the blind looks great up and the quality of the blind is excellent for the price so would buy it again only issue was the packaging but thats not the blind makers fault a bit of a story but felt the need to say
The supplier has advised the following for the Little Black Book Basswood White Venetian Blind - 120cm:
The fixing wall plugs included with the blind are not suitable for plaster walls. It is recommended to change for suitable wall plugs for plaster walls. If in any doubt about the correct wall plugs, we'd suggest to consult with professionals.
Our suppliers have advised that the Little Black Book 50mm Venetian Blind is not trimmable to size. Slats can be removed to reduce the length the width cannot be altered.
Little Black Book Basswood Natural Venetian Blind - 60cm
Yes, it is possible to cut the width using a hacksaw for the metal headrail and a fine tooth saw to cut the slats. It is a lengthy process and not easy to do well so this is not something we would recommend.
To avoid strangulation and entanglement, keep cords out of the reach of young children. Cords may become wrapped around a child's neck. Move beds, cots and furniture away from the window so that they are not covering the cords. Do not tie cords together. Make sure cords do not twist and create a loop.
