Since I have a small room and table this gaming chair just fits perfectly with its size not too big like the usuall gaming chair. Considering my size as well, it was pret for me.

On checking the manual for the Argos Home Faux Leather Mid Back Gaming Chair - White & Pink. I can see the arms are just screwed on so can be removed however the chair is designed to be used with the arms in place.
