The Dakota Ottoman Bed with Sleepy Castle Pocket Sprung Memory Mattress gives you a comfortable place to sleep and solves bedroom storage problems at the same time. The end lift mechanism opens up 725 litres of hidden space underneath, enough for spare bedding, seasonal clothes, or anything you want out of sight. The soft chenille fabric feels pleasant to touch and stands up well to everyday use. Individual pocket springs work independently to support your body where needed, while the memory foam layer adds extra comfort. The high headboard adds style without taking up floor space.

The medium-feel mattress needs regular rotation to even out wear but doesn't require turning. Sprung wooden slats in the base let air circulate and add support to the mattress. Wooden feet lift the frame 3cm off the floor, giving you space to hoover underneath. The soft durable fabric is practical for daily wear. Two people recommended for assembly, with all fixings and instructions provided. It's a double-size bed that fits standard UK double mattress bedding.

Hello Sandy,

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the GFW Dakota Double End Lift Ottoman Bed with Mattress- Grey: The double bed fits a UK standard double mattress which is 135cm wide. The frame will have a few cm around the mattress so that when the mattress is in use the natural settlement of the mattress will not hang over the frame.
