Great fan with quiet night mode
This has been great during the heat wave. It has a quiet nighttime setting so has helped with my sleep. It is fully assembled so no messing around. When I collected it I was surprised by the size of the box though (much bigger than i expected due to the packaging) so perhaps delivery is better if you don't have a car!

Effective
This fan is very effective, you can angle the head manually to the desired direction and have it at three different speeds. It looks smart and I would recommend it. The only bone of contention is that I ordered it early Thursday for same day click and collect but it didn’t arrive until Monday. Still pleased with it though.

Quality and genuinely quiet fan.
I had been looking for a quiet fan, low decibel and came across this one the Philips 2000 Desk Fan. Good quality and a powerful fan but importantly very quiet and have used it in the bedroom and it didn't disturb my sleep. Highly recommend.

Quiet smallish fan
We needed this fan on our narrowboat these last few weeks. It is not as noisy as I thought it would be. I wish we had got one that oscillated. But it works for the price.

I agree with the OP, the 2000 series fan does not have the oscillating function. The QR code on the enclosed paperwork takes you to a link for the 3000 series which does oscillate. Argos you need to update your product information for this item.
