I bought this as my regular cue was in for repair. Can’t fault its performance for the price, very pleasantly surprised. Combine it with a cue maintenance kit & you are more than sorted.

Cheap and almost cheerful
Cloth and chalks are good, with the magnetic chalk holders being useful for a team player maybe not just a few games at home. Cue tips were poor quality but the tip gripper is a good piece of kit. I’d say if you were to buy this, probably source your tips elsewhere and just have this for the accessories.

Sanding or cutting tips down to size is done all the time.
There is plenty to vid on YouTube of people doing it all the time.

Do not listen to Jake. Its perfectly acceptable to glue a bigger tip onto a smaller ferrule and then cut it down to size as you suggest.
Hello Smurf,
To increase the Tip size you will need to cut off a section of the Ferrule off to allow it to be a full 10mm diameter. You wouldn't be able to just insert the 10mm on the end of a old 9mm space. This may mean 1/2" may need to be removed from the total Cue length.

I have spoken to our supplier who have advised as follows.
The BCE Snooker and Pool Cue Care Kit two plastic pieces combine to form a tip clamp, which holds the replacement tip in place while the adhesive is drying.

To use the tip shaper. Using the abrasive size pull in a downward motion rounding motion to shape tip always pull from centre of the tip to the outside never the opposite way. To prevent ripping the fibers of the tip and even ripping the tip completely off the cue

It is a domed plastic moulding lined with an abrasive material so that the player can sand down the tip to the desired shape.
