Bought to replace aging Panasonic which had many functions that we did not need/use. This is far simpler and suits us fine. Just wish it had a timer that went to 5 seconds rather than 10. .

I bought this item a month ago to replace a previous one (same brand, similar model) where the oven failed after 4 years of not particularly heavy use, so disappointed it did not last. longer. The paper Instruction for use had been significantly reduced asking one to go online for greater detail. Shabby approach as it discriminates against the elderly users.

Basic microwave with various features
Bought this to replace one that stopped working after 20+ years. It's not as big and quite basic. Good for heating food it does have a range of features such as defrost and lower power than the 800kw.

Defrost ??
This seems a good enough machine BUT there are NO instructions for use. Why ? The 30 second heat works but I cannot find out on line or anywhere how to use the defrost !!!!! The online help box does not recognise the word defrost.
