7 inch fan
Bought as a low cost desk fan. More powerful than a USB fan, connects straight to mains. The good point is that the fan gives a decent amount of breeze if it is reasonably near you on a desk. On the downside I would have liked the slow speed to be even slower and quieter (there is not enough difference between the two speeds). The fan is clearly built down to minimum cost possible. I paid £10, it functions, can't complain, but it is cheaply made as a result. Plastic blades, plastic base. If you care what it looks like, or longevity, you might want to pay more for one that is better made.

Such a great little fan for the price!
I bought this to go in the kitchen as it gets very hot in there during the summer days. It’s a small size so it takes up little space on the counter top but it has great speed setting and really cools me down. It’s also quiet too. Great for smaller kitchens.

Returned
Bought this to use in a holiday caravan during the hot weather. Seemed to work OK, if a little noisy. Returned home and was in use for about a week or so. Wife turned it on this week and a large spark and a bang came from the motor. Lovely electrical burning smell too. Needless to say returned for a full refund... Only I had to accept as store credit due to purchasing with nectar points... Even though Argos award nectar points for purchases...
