Bike that can't be built
Very unhappy. Cannot put handlebars on bike as dont fit. This was a present for grandchild and she cannot use. I have checked reviews and tbis appears to be an issue with this bike. I did not keep box because I was hoping to put bike together and it be ready to ride. I now have a bike sitting in my bedroom and can't do anything with it. I also have to buy my grandaughter a new bike.

Complete rubbish
Complete rubbish, impossible to build. One pedal threaded so wouldn’t go on. Nuts in front wheel were seized. Returned. Waste of time and money, wouldn’t recommend at all and won’t consider buying a bike from Argos again. Oh, and it’s described as “purple” but is actually a horrible lurid shade of pink.

The supplier has advised the following for the Spike 18 inch Wheel Size Girls Mountain Bike - Pink:
Usually, child bikes will require front wheel assembly as well as seat, handlebars and pedals. Bicycle is supplied with a comprehensive manual in which you will find assembly instructions. Also, it comes with tools you will need to complete assembly.

It shouldnt do because kickstand are designed for cycling on smooth surfacess like roads. On trails or off roading they can catch on hazards and are not safe. So thatsThat said this isnt a true mountain bike because of the suspension being non existent but looks like a great starter bike x
