The Argos Home Carlton Small Double Divan Bed gives you a proper night's rest without taking up too much bedroom space. It's designed for smaller double rooms where you need comfort and storage but can't fit a standard double. The 800 pocket sprung mattress has individual springs that move independently, so they follow the shape of your body and provide support where you need it. That pocket system also stops you rolling together if you're sharing. Soft cushioning layers sit on top of the springs, with a tufted damask cover that feels comfortable and holds everything in place.

The divan base has four built-in drawers, two on each side, so you can store bedding, spare clothes, or anything you'd rather keep out of sight. The drawers sit inside the base structure and glide out smoothly when you need them. Chrome feet lift the base slightly off the floor. The mattress is a no-turn design, you just rotate it regularly to even out wear. It's a medium firm feel that balances comfort with support. The base arrives in two pieces, and minimal assembly is required, two people recommended. Matching headboards are available separately if you want to finish the look.
