The chain mechanism fits either side to suit your window layout, and the blind meets 2014 safety standards. It includes a child safety P clip to keep cords secure and out of reach. You can fit it inside or outside your window recess or directly to the wall. The wipe-clean fabric makes maintenance simple, and creases from packaging will drop out naturally after 48 hours. It's covered by a one-year manufacturer's guarantee. To ensure child safety and comply with regulations, always fit P clips or cleats when installing to keep cords and chains secure and out of reach.

Exchanged damaged (marks on front and flaw on blackout) item for this one, which was also damaged (bent). Giving up now and going elsewhere. Poor quality, poor packaging, and clearly poor handling.

Lovely blind bad packaging
Packaging was all tapped together, didn’t think much of it. Put the blind up then noticed the bottom bit had been snapped as if someone had marked it to shorten then snapped. It’s already up to to late to return

I bought these blinds a couple of months ago. I am sure glad I chose the blinds from Argos. Of course I did look around before I bought the blinds, because I wanted the best value for my money since I am retired. I'm not sorry I purchased the blinds from Argos. They tick all the boxes, especially the price. Great value for my money and earned some valuable Nectar points aswell. I recommend these blinds to anyone looking for quality blinds. Lastly I plan to buy some more blinds for the entire house.

Value for money
I know you get what you pay for, and in terms of blackout performance, there are no complaints. However, when the instructions say "easy to trim", it's anything but easy without leaving permanent crease marks in the blind. It was also difficult to feed the material back into the aluminium tubing after cutting.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Habitat Blackout Latte Roller Blind - 90cm: Please ensure you have installed the chain mechanism with the chain hanging straight down. If this has been installed at the incorrect position it will cause the chain to hang at the front or back of the blind and the chain will become stuck.
