One of the worst sadly.
One of the worst TVs I’ve ever bought. This will be going back sadly. Cannot cope with live tv. Football especially. Judders jumps scratchy picture. Go on yo tcl customer service and they’re just as bad. Tried every setting going. It should automatically change itself but itvx bbc I player watching World Cup it’s like watching a grundig TV. Woeful. Will be going back to a Samsung. So all in all rubbish for live sport ok for anything that’s not live, even the sky sports ticker jumps when watching that and the brightness is awful. Shame customer service is appalling also. Reset the tv check for updates lol. You shouldn’t have to faff about on a tv for it too show live sport seamlessly. Sound very tinny. Wouldn’t buy again from this company

Terrible sound but decent picture w/o Dolby Vision
It's good for a price of £251 but there's probably better £299 TVs out there for the same size. This to be aware of: the vivid mode is good and makes the TV bright enough for a room with daylight falling directly on it. However the TV switches to Dolby Vision when you use Netflix which is horrible in the same circumstances. You can barely see what's happening. You can't then change to any of the other picture modes. Luckily we worked out that if you switch off HDR in the Netflix app settings it seems to turn off the Dolby Vision and it's good enough again. The other thing to note is that the speakers are really terrible. We've got other TCL and LG TVs at home and this one is easily the worst. You'll feel the need to spend on a soundbar so you don't really save much. It also doesn't have a headphone jack. The remote is way better than the equivalent LG but the Google interface is cluttered and you can't control the layout. Keeps advertising channels like ITVX and Channel 4 and pushing shows like Gogglebox. Thought that going with the Google version would be better than the Fire TV but it's not. Much of the same and no better.

It's my first time buying a TCL tv and I can say I'm not disappointed it's more than I was expecting for the price the brightness, contrast & picture quality are amazing the only downside to it is the sound could be a little louder and I wish I had more options to adjust the bass & treble myself instead of just picking from a menu

The TV has a Google operating system, therefore has Google Play Store from where third party apps can be downloaded.
