Happy with my purchase
They were very well packed and, even for me, were easy to put together. I have to say they are bigger than I expected but that's my fault, however sturdy and have done the job.

Disappointed
Not terribly impressed with this and will be returning for a refund. Trying to put this together was like trying to coral cats but I persevered. I built it to the full height (which was adequate) and decided that while it would probably look nice with a display of sweet peas running through it, I had doubts as to it's stability. There is a two year guarantee with these but who wants to be untangling a tricky climber in order to rebuild or return? As an aside, I thought it was going to be in black but is actually green. Probably wouldn't matter once plants start growing upwards and it wouldn't have been a reason to return, but photos are not clear and I can't see that the colour is specified.

Good value
Cheaper than Amazon and probably exactly the same. Certainly good enough for my needs. Time will tell if the bottom ends of the legs will last pushed into the soil but I think they'll be ok for a few years at least. If you want proper solid ones which will last forever you'd be looking at paying several times the price, so I think these are very good value. Easy to put together - you'll need a screwdriver & either a very small spanner or a pair of pliers to get the bolts fine up nice and tight.

Looks good with my clematis growing around it. Good value fir the money as they was on an offer. Now I just need to get another plant for the other one to grow around. Can be a little bit fiddley to put together on your own but once together are very stable.

Hello there,
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack: ''They are tubular.''
Thank you for using Q & A.
They're tubular - pretty sturdy. I've had mine since early Spring and so far they've stood up well to weather and under the (fairly minor) weight of a young honeysuckle, and a young jasmine.
Yes
Hello Patricia,
The supplier has advised the following for the Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack:
You would need to assemble this, the product is shipped flat-packed.
Yes, this product would be fine to use in large garden tubs for climbers. You’d need to be sure the tub is stable and big enough for this use and you’d need to be sure that the Obelisk can be fixed deep enough that it too would remain stable in the pot.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Yes, it needs to be assembled. I am not sure about large tub but they look nice in a 40 lts pot.

Hello Vm214,
The supplier has advised the following for the Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack:
“ This product can used for climbing beans, that’s a very good idea. ”
Thanks for using Q&A.
Perfectly strong, although I would recommend really pushing the legs far into the ground for those very windy days. Or better still, sink them into some Postcrete.
Hello Neet,
The supplier has advised the following for the Decorative Obelisk - Twin Pack:
The load capacity of this product is about 2kg, so it’s strong enough to support climbing roses.
I hope this helps.
Thank you for using Q&A.
Possibly - we use them for raspberries, which are quite sturdy
Yes, absolutely. I purchased these for some shrub roses that I know will grow much higher but would currently look silly in these obelisks if they were fully constructed, there would be way too much height to them compared to the size of the plant. So I put them together without the mid section and middle ring, it is very stable. When the roses grow taller in a year or two I will easily be able to add in the middle section to make the obelisks higher.
YES! Due to the legs being in sections the height can be reduced by 2ft approx.
Just make sure that you take our a section that supports one of the rings, not the actual leg sections themselves.
Hi Abe
We would not suggest leaving out a rung as this will impact on the stability of the product
