Good value and easy to use Iron from a trusty bran
We find Tefal irons are generally very reliable. Our last one survived nearly 15 years. This one is good value for money. Feels a good weight, has a great sole plate and irons our clothes really easily and nicely.

Straightforward refund and new purchase.
I had to return a faulty iron I had bought the previous day which failed to work and had 2 guarantee leaflets and 3 instruction leaflets. None of these were in English language. I purchased a different brand and the whole process was simple and straightforward.

Hi, to dry iron, set the variable steam control to the Dry position and adjust the temperature to suit the fabric you are ironing. You do not need to fill the water tank when using the iron for dry ironing. After use, once the iron has cooled down, wipe the soleplate and around the steam holes to remove any fibres that may have collected.
When the iron is stood up on its heel it takes 8 minutes of no use for the auto shut off to activate and when it is on the soleplate, it activates after 30 seconds.
Yes, you can see into the water tank.
