Decathlon Travel Backpack 40 L

Too narrow; not suitable for blokes with big feet

The bag is well made but is far too narrow. The boot compartment is ok for a small adult shoe but anything bigger won't fit. The narrow width makes it uncomfortable to wear if you have broad shoulders, and the side straps with the front clip aren't removable. This bag would suit children or slight-framed adults with small feet but wasn't suitable for me, so I returned it.

Good space efficient travel backpack.

Spacious backpack

Has multiple zipped sections inside and outside. Can open like a suitcase or like a regular backpack from the top. If opened like a suitcase, your items inside shouldn't fall out as they can be secured within the zipped compartments. Has a detachable rain sheild that is light and can be folded flat. Has two side pouches for storing a water bottle or other items. Has straps to keep the backpack in a more flattened shape if not in use or not that full.

Ideal Size and Sturdy

I bought this as I was going away for a week and needed a backpack to carry most of things. This one was an ideal size and very sturdy.

Product great, packaging was lacking

The backpack is exactly what I expected. Even better. However the way it was packaged was not very professional. Just a plastic bag which looked like I am not getting a new product. Also this ‘plastic bag’ was not even sealed.
