I bought this for my flat, which tends to hover around 70% humidity. It has reduced the humidity significantly in only a few days, getting it down to the 40-50% range, though you wouldn't know that from the display. I've checked against a few other hydrometers I own and the dehumidifier consistently registers 5-10% higher, making running it on anything other than continuous mode useless. Still, it is first and foremost a dehumidifier and it is dehumidifying, so it doesn't bother me that much. Even after leaving it running overnight, it never gets more than half full, so the capacity is good. I don't notice any meaningful noise reduction between regular and quiet mode, but it's not a bothersome noise, so also don't really care.

Came home to it stood in a massive puddle!
It doesn’t automatically switch off once the tank is full, instead it just spills all over the floor, standing in a puddle. Safety hazard! Not worth the money. Heavy, doesn’t have any wheels. Wish I could return it and buy a better one off Amazon.

Bush dehumidifier
I have had my dehumidifier about two weeks now and I am really impressed. I bought it because my shed was very damp and it is drying out lovely It has a really low hum to it I would recommend this to anyone who are debating to buy one It is easy to use. It arrived on time

Does what it says.
Bought to help dry laundry. It has a laundry setting. It does help clothes to dry more quickly. There is some noise, you couldn't watch TV with it on. If you want to move it around, it is quite heavy. I always check water collector tray before using. Very happy with it so far. Love silver grey colout.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Bush D015B 16L Dehumidifier.
The LED display shows the current humidity level between 35% and 95%.
If the humidity falls below 35%, the display will show “LO”.
If the humidity rises above 95%, the display will show “HI”.
You can set a desired room humidity level between 30% and 90%. The dehumidifier will run until the humidity drops to 2% below your selected level. It will then pause and continue to monitor the air. When the humidity rises above your chosen level, it will automatically resume operation.
Alternatively, you can select Continuous Mode, which runs the dehumidifier without stopping, regardless of humidity level.
The recommended humidity level for a typical home is 50–55%.
