Our Aspley trundle day bed in solid wood is designed to act like a sofa by day and a bedframe by night. With an extra pull-out bed beneath, you can be sleepover-ready in seconds. Plus, it's easy to raise the spare to the height of the day bed too for a double or twin arrangement. Smart and attractive, that's Aspley. Comes with 2 mattresses included.

Absolutely love this bed
I am so happy I bought this bed. I put it together on my own as the instructions were very clear and every part was labelled with a letter to help. It is really good quality and I ordered 2 mattresses as well which came vacuum packed. My only gripe is I’m a single lady on my own and delivery people wouldn’t take the two boxes upstairs. They were extremely heavy. I did manage it but I’m quite strong and I didn’t by think other people would manage them on their own.

We bought this about 2/3 weeks ago, a bit difficult to make up as some of the parts had no numbers on to correspond to the instructions. But by looking at all parts closely and matching with diagrams, got it sorted.

Sturdy
Good sturdy bed, feels comfortable. Some of the parts didn't have letters on to enable us to follow the assembly instructions which was a nuisance.

Great bed - incredibly sturdy and looks good. Would highly recommend it. Mattresses come vacuum packed but after leaving them for 3 days after opening they're very comfortable.

The colour was very disappointing
A very pine like colour, clearly not ‘oak’. We exchanged it for the real oak one in the end. Customer service were incredibly helpful. Can’t fault them. Can’t comment on design or assembly as we didn’t even take it out of the box once opened and saw the colour.

Has a frame height of 92cm. With the included mattresses, this measurement from the floor to the top of the mattress will likely be approximately 105cm.

The supplier has advised the following for the Aspley Trundle Day Bed with 2 Mattresses- Oak Effect:
“ We recommend a 16cm mattress as this is the maximum storage size for the lower bunk.
If you use a larger mattress on the upper bunk, when placed side by side there will be an unevenness due to the limitations of the lower bunk. ”

It has arrived and its not. And after breaking up my old bed its in the garden getting wet. I have found this is not solid wood its MDF. Very disappointed. Now what do I do ? The slates might be pine but the rest of the stuff in the first box I have opened is MDF
