I thought this map was a great introduction to the world for a 3 year old. Ok it's not exactly accurate but for young children it plants an idea of where they are and for my grandson where all his family live, across various continents.

I can advise that there is only a minimum age limit of 3 years for this product. There is no upper age limit, and would be suitable if a 6 year old wanted to play with it.

The magnet is soft, flat and smooth.
