Very poor colour control
Purchased as a replacement for a failed LG TV. The Freeley app was the main draw and it works well which removes the need for a satellite dish. However, from the very start we have been very disappointed with the colour management. We are constantly switching between “natural” and “cinema” modes in an attempt at getting correct colour balance. Depending on the program being watched, skin tones can be very green, grass and background colours can tend towards a yellow tint and it is a nuisance. I think had we thought about it we would have kept the packaging and returned it for a refund. Not a patch on the LG and would not recommend.

Disappointing
I bought this for my retired mother in law, who now lives on her own, to replace her old TV which had packed up. She is not particularly tech-savvy, so just wanted a TV which would work when switched on, although we thought the Freely would be a huge bonus for her. After just two weeks, the device had needed completely factory re-setting three times making it totally unsuitable. Returned yesterday to branch and instead bought the Hisense model, time will tell of course - but which already seems vastly superior for same price point. Totally understand I may have been unfortunate and had a "duff" set, but think its probably more likely to a software bug issue which the manufacturers haven't fully resolved...would recommend not to buy this Bush model, but to go for something a little better known if you can

Great budget tv
I bought this Bush 50 inch smart tv about 3 weeks ago and I am amazed at the picture and sound quality on what is I suppose a budget tv we have a Samsung tv which cost several years ago around £1000 and can’t really distinguish between the two.

I had a problem with my son's TV. A member of staff said that we could exchange it for a new TV. We got a Bush TV and it's really good. Great picture, good size.

Picture quality excellent, sound perfect, and for the price I think this TV is exceptional, really pleased. Sky remote hooks up easily also. The internet is really good for a TV as well. No probs.

Disappointing
Bought this TV for our new house and even though it wasn't expensive, still hoped that it would be a reasonable enough TV. But took it back and exchanged it for a Samsung after a couple of days due to the poor picture quality. Anything black (like the border along the top and bottom of wide-screen films) flickered with green lights and no matter how much I altered the brightness, contrast etc in the TVs settings, the picture was never sharp. Glad I changed it because the new one is phenomenal for not a lot extra.
