Great product

So easy to use. I was able to set up very quickly. It has options to add in all your items so very quick and easy to use. I would highly recommend. The connection is also very good. The screen is a great size and very clear.

Small sleek and a great way to take payments

Firstly it looks sleek and non invasive, could set up in the smallest of places if needed for those that have little space and easy to store away when not in use, but again it’s a size that many if not all could accommodate. The instructions were lacking in the box but found it quite simple to put together in the end. Make sure you have to your email whilst setting up as you’ll need this, along with scanning QR code to start. The hardest part of this is the actually setting up and I wish I’d had more time to think on what may be required as I was unable to complete the process only due to directors not being present for authorisation. I will get to this as soon as I can but it did delay me in setting this up as personal addresses are needed to set up the sum up account and therefore permission required. Even not being able to fully set up I can see this is a valuable asset to any company small or large that can make use, taking payment by card or by sending qr code to pay by, making it a simple solution to those who prefer to pay by card. To have preset items to click and pay is the way to go, update and add to your list of stock and it’s good to go. I do think instructions would be welcomed even if it were a short video insert into the point of sale screen when turned on, so you know what to expect and what is expected of you, a booklet would be better with everything needed before you start set up. As soon as I have the permissions needed we’ll be making use of this as a great way for our customers to make payment, so many wanting to make card payments and this makes it simple to do, card machine in cradle or can be carried around, tap screen or card insert

Good piece of technology

Its a food piece of technology and once you get the hang of it, it is quite easy to use. However, it did take a while to set up and for me to add everything to it - this was a long process but now its all set up and ready its very easy going forward.

Fantastic & super responsive

Straight out of the box, this is ready to go. To set up you just need to create account (either on the device, online or on your mobile) and verify yourself by scanning your ID. The touch response on the Point of sale & the card device is fantastic, there wasn’t any lag and easy to use. Logging in and setting up was really straight forward, you can either use the card device to take payments alone or you can link it to the till & use it that way. This is a game changer for boot sales on the weekend! No more messing around finding change, just tap and go. Absolutely fantastic bit of kit! Also when the power is turned off on the Point of sale it auto logs you out which I thought was a great safety feature!

Great piece of kit!

SumUp Point of Sale Lite with Solo Card Reader is like a till and card machine combined with no monthly fees, just a 1.69% transaction fee for every payment you take.It is really easy to set up and works through 4G or WiFi. It has a compact design despite having a range of functions which include managing cash earnings and storing transaction history. Would highly recommend for small businesses!
