The detachable 1.8 L water tank can be refilled during use for uninterrupted ironing, with a dry tank alert to prevent running empty. Features include auto shut-off, anti-drip, and fabric presets. Complete with a 3-year manufacturer's guarantee when registered.

Quiet SuperSteam Generator Blue
Very happy with this generator as it has more than one heat setting, as I found the one heat generators left me with water all over the place. Easy to use and removes creases effortlessly. Would buy again.

Super iron
It is a great iron, pressure and steam very powerful and leaves clothes smoothness. Noise is louder than expected but that’s the only thing against the iron.

Would Recommend
Opted for this after my Morphy Richard’s packed up after 6 months use. This is far superior in every way, very big water chamber and the iron is so light. The steam pressure is excellent, the only negative is trying to stand the iron on the ironing board when turning clothes over but saying that the other one I owned was the same, I think it’s because of the thick pipe into the iron.

Great Value and performance
When I bought this i wasn't really interested in the 10% lower noise feature as I had never had a steam generator iron before so had nothing to compare it against. I can tell you though that compared to my previous Rowenta Steam Iron which was cheap it is by far superior. The large reservoir means you are not filling the iron up during long ironing sessions and the always ready steam make ironing much easier. I would highly recommend especially at the price i paid.

Pleased with performance
I bought this iron a month ago and I’m pretty pleased with its performance. Takes a little bit of time getting itself ready to steam but the amount of steam produced is steady and plentiful. Big step up on our previous iron.

Had the steam iron a few weeks now. Best iron I've had. Makes ironing easier & faster. With great results. The iron is very large & chunky, but works really well & I highly recommend it. It heats up quickly & is very quiet Can't fault it.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Russell Hobbs Quiet Steam Generator Iron 24470: ''The 24470 Quiet Super Steam Generator Blue should NOT be descaled as it is already equipped with an anti scale cartridge.
You should perform the after use and maintenance steps from the manual on pages 5 and 6 as frequently as possible. Please change the anti scale cartridge regularly too.''
