From Habitat x Morris & Co. Comes this Merton armchair. A fusion of English country design and the romantic, nature-inspired patterns of William Morris. Upholstered in the celebrated and striking Sunflower design, it's an eye-catching piece. With a frame made from solid oak, a comfortably cushioned, pocket sprung seat, supportive padded back and low and convenient arms. It's made for lounging and relaxing.

Risky to buy without trying
They arrived in a box with the legs detached. They are stunning to look at the pattern is eye catching. Not as wide as we thought but I put they down to our measurements. They are long in the seat that the average chair but great to curl up on

Large armchair but it makes a statement piece in my open plan kitchen/garden room. Chair is well made ( my opinion) and has a firm seat. I’m pleased with it !

I bought this chair recently as I love the William morris designs and this was such good value and it’s a really good size 😊cushion is quite firm but will be loads better once it softens

Gorgeous!
I bought this beautiful chair a few weeks ago, after a lot of mulling. I'm glad I took the plunge as it's just what I hoped it would be, a gorgeous statement chair in our bedroom. It's a very comfortable reading chair too. My only complaint is that our dog thinks it was bought just for him!

I bought this to fill a space in dining room. It’s absolutely perfect, beautiful while being robust and comfy! I’d recommend the armchair to anyone looking for a statement piece. It did also fit through my narrow doorways with some slight persuasion which is a big bonus!

Our supplier has advised that the Habitat x Morris & Co. Merton Sunflower Fabric Armchair castors are strong and stable. The chair could be rolling on the ground if you need to move its position. ( you will need to make some effort since the chair itself is around 40KG.)
It won't scratch the floor because there are bronze wheels on the castors.
Besides, when you sit on it, you and the chair will remain in place due to the total weight is quite heavy.
