The main clipper runs corded or cordless for 45 minutes after a 12-hour charge. It includes 8 combs for cutting lengths from 0.8mm to 25mm, perfect for close crops or longer styles. High carbon steel self-sharpening blades stay sharp and detach for cleaning. The compact trimmer handles stubble, beards, necklines and sideburns with 4 combs from 0.4mm to 13mm. Hi Willy, the rechargeable clipper comes with the mains socket to charge it. The rechargeable battery is built into the clipper so you don't need to buy it separately and you can use the clipper on the cord and off the cord. The lead is approx. 1.8 metres. The Wahl Premium Hair Clipper 9639-1617X comes with a chargeable battery included. It can not use ordinary batteries. The smaller trimmer requires batteries which are not included, it requires 1 x AAA battery.
