I'm not sure if this helps but I found it fills a big gap provided you have two surfaces that can accommodate the hinges and click fitting for fastening the gate.You need to be aware of the height of the fixings from the floor. It was a bit of a struggle fitting ours between a wall and a window sill to safeguard a conservatory outside door opening but with a little extra carpentry we managed.
