About this product
The Scandinavia Bedside Table gives you three deep drawers to store bedside essentials without cluttering your room. It's solid pine, a natural wood that handles daily use and gives each piece its own wood grain character. The three chunky drawers run on smooth metal runners, so you can open and close them quietly without disturbing anyone. There's space for phones, books, chargers and jewellery, everything has its place. The natural pine finish is lacquered to protect the wood and wipe clean easily.
The wooden handles feel solid and comfortable to grip, even in the dark. Wall fixings are included to secure the unit safely, particularly important in homes with children. The compact size fits beside most beds without taking up too much floor space. It's part of the Scandinavia collection, so you can co-ordinate with other pieces if you're furnishing a full bedroom. Self-assembly required with clear instructions provided.

Missing and damaged parts
I ordered a Scandinavia 3 drawer bedside Table on 10 May and it arrived promptly on 12 May. I was extremely happy with your service. However, I waited for my son to come and build it for me today, but we had problems. There were only 5 of the metal dowels (4000) in the pack instead of 6. Also the back drawer (7) 266 x 110mm, was cracked all along the width and the top panel (1) 428 x 400mm, had some strange spot markings along the midline. Please advise as to what I should do.

Ordering was easy, collected the next day but on opening several drawer pieces were broken… they must have been already broken when they were packed, as damage in storage or transit almost impossible due to the Tetris packing. Took alot of patience to repack it in the box to return to the store. .Shame because it would have been a nice piece of furniture.

Good design, awful manufacture
I purchased two of the above bedside cabinets, the design is great the product is awful. I consider myself to be a very experienced flat pack builder ( think IKEA!), the challenge of trying to correctly set the drawer slides was almost impossible. The ore drilled holes are positioned incorrectly! I spent 4 hours attempting to assemble one where the drawers slide and temporarily gave up and had to have a brandy. Will attack the tomorrow determined to win, too much aggrevattion to return and as a manufacturing issue would expect replacements to be same. I will preservere!!!!

For the price, we're really pleased. They look lovely and seem sturdy. We swapped the handles for chrome. One drawer in particular looked a bit off/wonky but was better when swapped with another drawer.
