Warped top- a huge disappointment
I bought this as a housewarming gift for my daughter recently relocated from NZ. The unit went together exceedingly well until I came to put the top on- it was so warped it was impossible to secure it. Customer services were more than unhelpful expecting me to carry it on a train journey from Durham to Hastings so I could return it to the Hastings store where I had originally arranged a click and collect- apparently the customer services operator had ‘ no option’.

The sides and back of the Home Scandinavia 3 Drawer Bedside Table - Pine are untreated however the front and top have a lacquered finish which would require sanding down before applying a darker stain.
