About this product
The YardMaster 10 x 6ft Shiplap metal shed offers you a sturdy outside space that's ideal for garden storage or doing DIY. Designed for comfortable use, the shed is extra tall (223cm max internal height) meaning you won't have to crouch or stoop. 2 sliding lockable doors give you great access to the inside, wide enough when both open (125cm) to fit a lawnmower or wheelbarrow through. 2 translucent roof panels let you see contents better in daylight. Its subtle grey and taupe colouring means that it'll suit any garden and look great for years.
Metal sheds don't come with a floor. They should be built directly onto a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac, then anchored to it using the anchor fixings provided. This base is the floor of your shed. The anchor points are pre-drilled for your ease. Using these is an integral part of the shed's stability. This base is not supplied. An anchor kit is included.
Do not place directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc. As natural movement will affect the stability, reduce lifespan and cause the doors to warp. 2 people are required for assembly and we strongly recommend you use thick gloves when assembling the panels.
Once built, this YardMaster shed requires zero maintenance or further treatments. Its hot dipped galvanised steel construction makes it durable and weather resistant. This means you'll never have to paint it or worry about rot or rust. It comes with a 15-year UK manufacturer's anti-rust guarantee.

The shed has mixed reviews, with many users finding assembly challenging due to unclear instructions and misaligned holes. However, once built, it is generally regarded as sturdy and good value for money.

Metal shed
Instruction's difficult to follow and quite confusing to look at a number of the predrilled hole's didn't line up properly. You do need a calm day to put it together as if it is slightly windy the panels move about a lot making life difficult for you, other than that quite well made for the price.

Very disappointing with quality of panels
Instructions too difficult to follow without any written advice and video recommended was too fast to help. Lots of the pre-drilled holes did not line up correctly and as this was 10' x 6' shed the roof was much too heavy for two men to lift. Some of the panels were scratched on arrival and the metal very thin.

Great product at a really good price
This shed is really good as the dimensions were perfect for the space that was available. However, the shed is quite light and not as sturdy or heavy duty as the wooden sheds. But for the price this shed is excellent value. I've now had the shed for a few months and is performing great. I would recommend it.

Very solid once built
Instructions are not as clear as most flat pack items I have made up in the past, but very happy with the final product. Sturdy construction, and fits in well in my garden.

Great value if you are adequate at DIY
Built mostly on my own (42 year old woman) without any great difficulty and my husband and 13 year old son helped lift the roof on top. I do think the variation in reviews variation in personal DIY skills, the instructions can be followed easily if you find diagrams easy to follow, its a more complicated ikea style workbook. As with other reviews sometimes the screw holes don't line up exactly but I found if you loosened a couple of screws around the misaligned one you could pull everything into place. This then creates tension in the frame and adds to its structure once everything is tightened up. Very solid, framework is tight and I think it will last its guarantee.

Worst thing I've ever bought
Instructions make no sense what so ever. This thing could lead to divorse. It's been over a week and it's still not finished. Save your sanity and do not buy this!

The reviews were true!
The stars are because the end product actually ended up being solid and looking decent. Building it only cost me three days, a friendship and my sanity. The instructions look like they’ve been printed and then smudged before the ink is dry, seemed to skip every vital step, the final step just says ‘put the roof on’ and there is no picture showing where the connections actually sit. Which doesn’t matter because you have to twist some of the panels to make them slot in and then drill your own holes, so by the time it comes to fitting the roof on it’s probably not sitting square anyway. Buy this shed if you’re already having a bad day but haven’t chopped the tops of your fingers off with sharp metal yet.

Substandard shed and appaling service
I bought this shed last month. It arrived on time. On checking all contents I found two missing items - a pack of screws and a main upright brace for the back of the shed. I emailed to ask for the missing items to be delivered, but had no reply. I phoned customer service and was told the parts department had 14 hours to reply. I asked to be put through on the phone to make it easier, but was told that was not possible. I was also told that the email I had used was correct and would get to the parts department. I waited 3 further days and after a couple more emails with no reply - not even a holding return email - I requested the product be collected and refunded. I pointed out that this has caused Argos not only the loss of the sale but the added expense of a collection, when they could easily simply have replied to my emails and sent the missing parts. In terms of the quality of the shed, I found the sides really thin and was not sure how it would stand up to even the slightest knock, so it is probably best it went back! I would have expected much better service from Argos and I would recommend not using them for large items that have many parts.

Yardsman Tall Shed
My Son islaw and his labourer, said this is the worse shed he has put up, and he has done many of sheds/ Instructions where awful and so many screws you had to guess where they went.

Good shed
Purchased for my mother’ small garden. Good size shed seems solid. Looks good hopefully it will last us for a long time.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
