About this product
The YardMaster 10 x 6ft Shiplap metal shed offers you a sturdy outside space that's ideal for garden storage or doing DIY. Designed for comfortable use, the shed is extra tall (223cm max internal height) meaning you won't have to crouch or stoop. 2 sliding lockable doors give you great access to the inside, wide enough when both open (125cm) to fit a lawnmower or wheelbarrow through. 2 translucent roof panels let you see contents better in daylight. Its subtle grey and taupe colouring means that it'll suit any garden and look great for years.
Metal sheds don't come with a floor. They should be built directly onto a strong, level base such as concrete, paving slabs or tarmac, then anchored to it using the anchor fixings provided. This base is the floor of your shed. The anchor points are pre-drilled for your ease. Using these is an integral part of the shed's stability. This base is not supplied. An anchor kit is included.
Do not place directly onto a base of grass, earth, sand etc. As natural movement will affect the stability, reduce lifespan and cause the doors to warp. 2 people are required for assembly and we strongly recommend you use thick gloves when assembling the panels.
Once built, this YardMaster shed requires zero maintenance or further treatments. Its hot dipped galvanised steel construction makes it durable and weather resistant. This means you'll never have to paint it or worry about rot or rust. It comes with a 15-year UK manufacturer's anti-rust guarantee.

Too many pieces
For the price I wouldn't then expect to spend all day putting it up there is far too many pieces and screws it's ridiculous looks good once up but was seriously going to return it as soon as I opened the box will not purchase a metal shed again for this reason
Not as tricky to build as some of the other reviews say. Took me a full day to build, with some assistance from my wife, but mostly on my own. Plenty tall enough, can get lots of stuff in it.
Put up within a day, great shed.
The concrete base should be larger than the assembled base rails, for this model at least 295cm wide x 195cm long.
The bottom of the shed is secured onto the concrete base by the 4 anchor bolts, one in each corner. To fit these you will need to drill four 10mm holes into the concrete base, as described in the assembly manual.

The total dimensions are: H224, W303, D197cm.
Base size required W285cm, D186cm.
The additional 20cm would be due to the roof overhang either side.

After speaking to our supplier, they have advised: ''We do not sell guttering for this model of shed as it already includes small channels to manage water flow. However, the technician has advised that if you want rainwater guttering, to purchase only downpipes.''
Hope this helps.
Thank you for using Argos Q and A.

Guttering could be arranged below the 4 spouts - one at each corner of the roof - to collect rainwater.

The small print
All sheds need to be placed and secured on a base; this can be concrete, patio slabs or wood. Putting your shed directly on the ground wouldn't be safe and would decrease the lifespan of your shed.
