Are cheap quality and damaged when new...
I bought two at same time. Both products were damaged when I opened it, one worse than other, but not enough to warrant faffing with trying to get it all back into its original box (required per argos rule), lug the 50kg+ back to a shop to negotiate a refund on something I need... Just not worth full price which is annoying. I have attached photos. For example one of the backboard was totally unattached which was fixed with duct tape. Another was loose needing reinforcement. The ends of some planks were damaged and on one back board the gap was so big it looks unsightly when assembled. Meh.

Looks great when finished, but several problems when putting it together. As others have mentioned, it’s extremely easy to hammer the nails for the backing board through to the shelf space, resulting in warps and holes. The drawer fronts also do not stay reliably attached as there is only one screw and one dowel on each end holding it to the drawer wall - I have had to use superglue to get it to stay and not wiggle apart when pulled. The screws for the drawer handles are also much too thick and do not go into the handle more than one turn, resulting in loose handles - I had to use my own screws to solve this.

Good quality for the price
Happy with this bookshelf. It wasn't too hard to put together - I did it mostly on my own, but easier with someone else to hold a few of the bits together. The pieces weren't labelled so make sure you measure them to know which bit is which! Annoyingly, when we picked it up in store, they only gave us one of the boxes and we didn't realise there was a second one until we got home and saw '1 of 2' on the box :( It seems sturdy and looks good for the money.

Very Pleased.
Great bookcase, l have this just over a month now and found it straight forward to assemble, and I'm 76. I particularly like the drawers which have metal ball bearing runners, the clean white lines, and the overall quality of it, for the price.

Quality bookcase. Sturdy and loads of space. Even the drawers are a good size. Only drawback a few of the screws were a bit cheap Quality and had to be replaced from our screw box! But value for money.
