The Argos Home Maine Bookcase gives you a straightforward way to organise your books, display your favourite pieces, or bring a bit of life into your room with plants. It's a tall five-shelf unit that fits into narrow spaces without taking over, so it works well in living rooms, bedrooms or home offices. The wood effect finish keeps things simple and blends with most furniture you already have. There's one fixed shelf for structural support and four adjustable shelves you can move to suit what you're storing, whether that's tall hardbacks, small paperbacks, or decorative items.

Easy to put together but not very sturdy
easy to put together but can tell its a lower end priced product. The supporting back panels arrived in 2 halves and was difficult to tack onto the back of the bookcase to make sturdy due to it being in 2 pieces rather than one full piece and so had a visible gap of around a few mm's in middle of bookcase. If this was to be displayed in a busy living space I would have sent back but ok for sons bedroom and requires the wall supports to prevent tipping. Assembly was easy to put together

Great bookshelf!
I bought this a couple of weeks ago and honestly it’s perfect, so much space, shelves are adjustable. Was so so quick to build. A good weight - not too heavy but also not super light so don’t have to worry about it falling over. The walnut finish is also gorgeous, goes perfectly with my decor. Thank you Argos!
