Could be great
I bought this as my mum has one and hers is really good. Unfortunately when mine came the display didn't work at all and I had to send the whole thing back after assembling it. If the display had worked this is a good bike.

Portable Compact and Affordable
I bought this as a replacement, and it's a great piece of kit for the price. Assembly was easy, and I find the riding position very comfortable. If you just want to get your heartrate up two or three times a week, this is ideal, and you can also knock out the miles when the weather is too bad for cycling outdoors. I would certainly recommend this bike.

Great bike to have at home for daily exercise
I use the bike more or less everyday, great to have at home and hardly takes up space. The seat can be a bit hard but I just sit on a cushion that does the trick! Sometimes there is a clicking sound which comes and goes, a bit of shifting from left to right when sitting down works!

I experienced exactly the same problem with this bike - Argos were not able to help but I was able to secure the services of a repairman who experienced great difficulty obtaining the part. Sadly the pedals did not hold up and I am now forced to replace this bike - Id like to replace with same model but I am apprehensive about an irreparable design fault.

Hi There.
Opti Folding Magnetic Exercise Bike:
Having checked the instructions, the bike is a manually operated bike. It does not need any power supply to work, only what the user puts in.
2 x AAA are the only batteries that are required with the bike. That is to operate the monitor.
The bike will require the moving parts to be lubricated with light oil periodically to prevent premature wear.
