Very thin and not bouncy
Bought this expecting it to be 2.5cm thick like the title of the product on the Argos website says. It is actually less than 1 cm thick, and pinching between thumb and finger its only a few mm (which is how it would be if laying on it). Nowhere on the packaging that I could see does it claim to be 2.5 cm so I guess that's on Argos. Returned it without unfolding it,. On the website returns information it says the staff must be able to inspect it so I left the package open. However, the shop said it had to be parcelled in its original packaging to be resold so I had to come home and re do it. Be warned the packing is not designed to reseal and it took some doing to compress it to get it to fit back in and tape up. If you're still thinking of buying it I suggest opening a corner of the bag only so you can inspect it first. We didn't try laying on it but I'm fairly sure it wouldn't add any comfort to any surface, it's so thin. Quality-wise the edging looked like the picture so that was as expected.

Its not dead thick but it irons out the mattress's unevenness and allows for a comfier sleep. It didn't cost much either. We bought another, slightlier narrower one for our camper van to make it comfy to sleep on top of seat belts and it works a treat!

Very thin and definitely not ‘bouncey’
I bought this three weeks ago and it doesn’t even cover the slightest unevenness in the pull out sofa. I’d not recommend it. It is very thin.

It did the job!
I bought this mattress topper to put on top of a sofa bed. It did the job. The elastic straps held the mattress in place. However, I paid full price for it and on reflection, it was expensive. I could have bought a similar topper at other shops, much more cheaply.
