Great replacement for my old epilator
Got this to replace a 10 year old epilator that was giving up the ghost. It's great. And was a very reasonable price in the sale! Saves so much money compared to waxing etc.

Does the job but could be better
I bought this to replace my Phillips basic epilator, which stopped working after about 21 years. To compare this product to my old epilator: - This Braun epilator is much quieter than my old one - It is less efficient. It's got 20 tweezers, and I think my old one had 25. I can feel the difference in the amount of time it takes me to use it. - It's got a 2-pin plug rather than a 3-pin plug, and it's not really possible to replace the plug with a 3-pin, as all the charge is in the plug. So you do have to use an adaptor. One benefit of this is that it's more compact than a 3-pin plug, even when you include the adaptor. - It's got a light, and my old one didn't have this. The light is a 'nice to have' feature rather than something I've found particularly useful. Sometimes the epilator creates a shadow from the light, and you can't see the places you'd like to see anyway. I'm not sure if I would recommend this product. Probably - yes I would recommend it for beginners, to see if it's something you'd like. But if you're replacing an old epilator, maybe get a better, more expensive model with more tweezers, as it will be more efficient.

Price is reasonable and easy to use. Painful to use, which was expected with epilating and it does get less painful with each use but the part that bothers me is how much it messed up my skin. Ever since I've used it I've had red, sensitive bumps all over my legs as if where the roots are removed are bruised.
