With 1000 springs under tension in their own fabric pockets and zoning across the mattress to provide edge to edge responsive support, scientifically proven to provide superior spinal alignment and body support.
This mattress is finished in a luxury soft knit cover for a smooth sleep surface and provides a medium comfort, great for most sleeper types. It's also hypoallergenic and provides pressure relief to help ease aches and pains through the night.

Firm but comfortable
I needed a new mattress and this was a similar one to what I'd had before. It's quite firm but comfortable to sleep on. I've only had it a week so I feel it needs some time to settle as at the moment it feels as if some of the springs are very close to the surface. Not so noticable when laying down but if I'm sitting I can definitely feel them. The previous mattress lasted six years and I'm hoping this newer version will match that. Handles at the side would make turning easier.

The supplier has advised for the Silentnight Marlow 1000 Pocket Comfort Breathe Luxury Mattress - Kingsize: It is not suitable for metal rod bases.
Slat widths should be a maximum of 7.5cm and the gap between them no more than 7.5cm. Tubular bar or Mesh frames are not recommended as these do not offer enough support to you or your mattress long term.
