About this product
The Habitat Chiltern Spindle Kingsize Bed sorts your bedroom storage while keeping you comfortable night after night. It's a spindle-style oak frame that gives you somewhere to sleep and a hidden storage compartment that holds 200l underneath. That's enough space for spare bedding, bulky duvets, and things you don't need every day. The solid oak frame and feet bring natural wood character into your bedroom. An easy-lift mechanism raises the slatted base without straining your back. The solid wood headboard's included, so you've got everything you need in one parcel.
The wooden frame sits on solid oak feet that lift it off the floor and keep everything stable. Plywood slats support your mattress evenly across the base. The end-lift design means you access the storage from the foot of the bed, so you don't need to pull it away from the wall. Internal storage space measures 24cm high, giving you proper depth for bulkier items. It'll hold up to 220kg total user weight. Two people are recommended for assembly, and all fixings are provided. Comes with a two-year guarantee.

Great bed!
Very nice bed, fairly simple to put together on my own! Looks lovely in the room. Only gripe with the delivery is they didn’t bring it upstairs so I had to lug it up alone - thanks Argos.

Critical parts missing and apparently not available to be reordered. We’ll need to find something elsewhere or be left with a worthless bed.

Beautiful and super storage
Got this bed as an upgrade and took longer to put together than planned but the result was worth it. It’s sleek and beautiful design, fantastic support for the mattress plus the storage is vast! So much better than just shoving things under the bed, you can actually see what’s there and you can fit a lot more than you realise.

This bed arrives fully flat‑packed and requires complete self‑assembly (two people are recommended). It comes in two large boxes, so please ensure you have enough space to move them through your home. The largest box measures approximately 208.5 × 76.5 cm.

There is no restriction regarding the depth of the mattress, but there is for the weight. I have checked all the Silent Night 2000 range and all weights are under the max weight so will be fine.
