About this product
The Habitat Ronnie Single Bed Frame provides a solid, reliable place for your child to sleep, built to handle years of bedtime stories, midnight visits, and energetic mornings. Made from solid pine with a sturdy frame, it stands up to daily use for lasting strength through the younger years and beyond. The duck egg blue finish brings a fresh, modern look that suits many bedroom colour schemes. Wooden slats support the mattress, so no extra base is needed. Its single size fits neatly into children's bedrooms without taking over the space.
The frame's built to take a maximum user weight of 120kg and it's suitable for ages 4 years and over, so it'll grow with your child into their teenage years. The shaker style design keeps things simple and timeless. Wall-mounting brackets aren't mentioned, but the solid pine provides good stability. Arrives flat-packed, two people are recommended for assembly, and there's a two-year manufacturer's guarantee included for peace of mind.

Smart and sturdy.
We have had this bed a few weeks and it suits my seven year old perfectly, with plenty of room left for growth. I don’t envisage having to change until they hit preteen age. The bed is sturdy and was easily assembled. It looks great and I would recommend.

Could be improved
Not bad, not great. Really creaky even though it's all built and tightened correcty Slats are a bit meh but yanno would be an okay kids bed. Some small chips off the paintwork so not in perfect condition.

Lovely bed
I bought this bed because it looked very sturdy and well made for my granddaughter . It was easy to put together and fitted perfectly in our spare bedroom . It was also a good price and I am very pleased with it. An adult could also sleep comfortably in it if needed.

Good bed for a child
I bought this for my 3 year old. It’s a great little bed but would not recommend for an adult. Assembling it was ok, was slightly annoying because it comes In quite a lot of pieces.

Hello Lizzie.
After checking with our supplier, they have advised for Habitat Ronnie Single Bed Frame - White.
There is 24cm from floor to the underside of the bed frame.
No, a trundle bed will not be possible to put under the bed, as the bed has a central leg in the middle.
Thank you for using Q & A.
Hello,
No, the Habitat Ronnie Single Bed Frame in white uses wooden slats, which are rigid, not sprung slats.
Slat Type Details
Material: The bed frame includes wooden slats as confirmed by product descriptions on the Habitat and Argos websites.
Support: These wooden slats provide firm support for the mattress and user.
User Reviews: Some user reviews from Argos indicate the slats need to be screwed in individually and some users reported issues with them creaking or breaking, suggesting they are a rigid structure rather than flexible sprung slats.
Sprung slats (bentwood slats) are designed to flex and provide a slightly bouncier, more cushioned support, which is different from the solid support provided by the wooden slats in the Habitat Ronnie bed frame.
Have a nice day!
