The best vacuum cleaner we've owned
The most powerful suction on a vacuum cleaner we've ever had or used. Light weight with easy to change cleaner heads and accessories, the wall mounted charging unit is very neat and easily installed. The display system and information on what you are cleaning is very helpful. The lighting system on the hard floor cleaning head really does help in highlighting the areas which need concentration on. Cleans the whole house on a single charge and the capacity of the dust compartment means it only needs to be emptied when you have finished. the filtration system identifies that you have collected and is very informative of that you have collected and the simple emptying system leaves no mess around the bin into which it is emptied. The maneuverability enables access to every nook and cranny. A single charge is sufficient to clean the whole house.

Fairly happy but with a few reservations
It’s my first Dyson and my first cordless. The filtration, dust capacity, runtime, manoeuvrability and suction are all good. There are two aspects I am less happy about. Firstly the combination brush has far fewer bristles than my previous vacuum, which risks scraping paintwork when dusting. Secondly, the V15 model is too heavy to hold for more than 10 minutes at a time, particularly when hoovering carpet. I couldn’t test the vacuum on pile carpet in the Dyson shop, and it is quite challenging for me with the weight and wrist strength needed.

I never thought I’d enjoy vacuuming so much! The hard floor head enabling you to see what you’re picking up is both brilliant and shocking! It’s a lovely light machine and a joy to handle. Expensive but worth every penny.

So far I am happy with my Dyson v15 Detect, have had issues with previous cordless vacuums mainly lack of suction power and over a relatively short period of time battery not holding much charge. I Purchased the Dyson for the suction power and the fact that you can change the batteries major pluses only negative is the dust capacity is really small (but emptying is easy and quick) and the price is a bit on the steep side

Excellent and expensive
Really happy so far. The green light showing up the fluff and pet hair works really well. Very light and easy to use. Brilliant suction. VERY expensive though - if it breaks down in two years I'll be fuming!

I recently got this to replace my old Dyson corded vacuum which in all fairness even after 6 years is working perfectly fine. I just got this as I recently changed my carpets to Laminates. And now this V15 Detect is really great so easy to use so much less strain on my shoulder. Extremely easy to manoeuvre. Best feature that I like about this model is the green Laser light which literally does what it says it shows you dust that you wont see with even brightest lights. So you might think your house is clean but when you turn this on you will realise its not. Got enough power to cover my 4 bed detach house with some charge left it used in auto mode. I would highly recommend this great product but kindly note I cannot tell if this will be as good as my corded dyson on thick carpets you won't get deep clean as the corded.

I can advise the Dyson V15 Detect Absolute Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner does not have anti hair wrap, however it does de-tangle and remove pet hair with it's digital Motorbar™ cleaner head with Polycarbonate hair removal vanes to lift and spiral hair straight into the bin.
