This Shark performs well and I an generally pleased with it.The Problem is its top heavy so it cannot stand alone whilst left unattended this is very frustrating when cleaning a room and you have to move furniture.

Squeaky on carpet
Had my last Shark for eight years so was looking forward to trying the new model. Unfortunately, after we unpacked it and charged the battery the head squeaked terribly and the batteries went from 100% to 20% in less than five minutes and this was on the standard mode. Complained and they sent me a new head which again did exactly the same. We ended up agreeing to return for a refund. Als annoying was the refusal to send a new one out until faulty one returned which took over a week and needed me to chase.

My new Shark vacuum is so much better than my last Dyson. It can handle the wooden flooring so much more easily and the bend in the tube makes it so easy to clean under beds and the sofa. The light on the front is great. I love that it can change its power when it detects more or less dirt, so it’s great near the cat litter trays to pick up any litter they’ve walked out of the tray. The deodoriser pod smells nice. It’s light to easily carry up and down stairs.

My New Best Friend
For decades i have loved my vacuum from a rival. I was looking to replace and came across Shark Stratos Anti Hair Wrap Cordless Vacuum. After some research and because of the discount and a free car accessory kit, i took the plunge. Wow Wow Wow. If only i knew years ago. This vacuum is a little gem. Lightweight, reaches all corners without effort and the suction is superb. It has 3 different suction sections which is a dream. An added bonus is that it comes with 2 batteries and the vacuum tells you the percentage you have used. Absolutely fantastic, no more having to stop and recharge, a time saver with such a simple function. This Shark is my new best friend

You just push a button and use the hoover, it’s also extremely lightweight (surprisingly) so if you’re like me and struggle with your hands, both features are excellent.

To change the battery on the Shark Stratos Pro Anti Hair Wrap Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner, follow these steps:
First, detach the vacuum cleaner from the charging dock or power source. Locate the battery compartment (usually near the handle or base). Press the release button or slide the latch to remove the battery pack.
Take the replacement battery pack and align it with the contacts inside the compartment. Push it in until it clicks securely into place.
Once the new battery is in place, turn on the vacuum and check if it’s working properly.

The width is 25.8cm. Which is with the width of the floor cleaning sweeper.
The depth is 24.5cm, from the front of the sweeper to the back including the battery.

The Stratos Pro Anti Hair Wrap Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner has a running time of 120 minutes whereas the IZ400UKT model has a 60 minute running time. The Stratos Pro Anti Hair Wrap Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner also has 4 attachments whereas the IZ400UKT model has 3.

The power supply for recharging can be plugged into the side of the battery while the battery is still attached to the vacuum cleaner. There is a small round hole on the side of the battery.
This is an alternative to using the double charger socket for two batteries. To use that the battery needs to be detached from the vacuum in order to be placed in the charger socket.

The Shark Stratos Pro Anti Hair Wrap Pet Cordless Vacuum Cleaner comes with 2 batteries. So you can have one on charge, whilst using the other. The batteries just clip on to the body of the vacuum.
