About this product
These durable water butts come with a three piece, interlocking stand. The stand also comes with three 3 plastic link clips which hold the stand together for added stability. The water butt comes with a tap, diverter and t-piece. All holes have been pre-drilled which makes attachment of the various components very easy. This waterbutt is 100% recyclable and is produced from recycled material.

This water butt was delivered promptly and efficiently and was easy to install. I ordered it when it was hot and very dry this summer and managed to set it up quickly to catch the rain which was forecast for the next day! I was amazed how quickly and easily it filled up. Nice thick barrel, useless tap.
Barrel is nicely made, more robust than others, nice green colour, stand also good. Tap useless. A water butt is a simple thing, it has one job, one only. Store water. Due to the tap, which leaks constantly, it fails to do this. I now have to mess around buying and fitting a replacement tap just so the thing works. Not good enough frankly.

Once filled with rain water the butt becomes unbalanced. The structure isn’t particularly strong to hold the capacity it was meant for. Wouldn’t buy again for this reason.

Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 150L:
To use this water butt, your shed will need both guttering and a downpipe. The kit includes everything else you need: a stand with 3 plastic clips to secure it, a diverter that connects to your downpipe to collect rainwater, a T-piece with 2 caps, a tap, and a flexible hose.

Our supplier has advised that once the Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit - 150L is full the diverter will not divert any more rainwater into the waterbutt and will continue to then run down the drainpipe. There is no need to amend anything with the waterbutt itself.

After checking with our supplier, they have advised for the Whitefurze Water Butt and Kit : The diverter would fit a standard 65mm Square and 68mm Round.
At 2.86 inch this would be 72.6mm.

Having checked I an see there is no fitting supplied to connect your hose pipe however you can purchase a connecter online.

Other than the pre-drilled hole for the diverter kit in the top section of the waterbutt, there are no further pre-drilled holes.
The pre-drilled hole in the top section could be plugged using the ‘T’ piece and the caps that are provided.

There is no cut out in thr lid but the handle could be removed to make room.
I also think there would be room to make a cut out either side of the handle.
The predrilled hole for the normal water inlet could then be used as the overflow usind the included fitting.
