The AEG HKB64450NB 60cm Gas Hob brings clear visual control to everyday cooking with its FlameLight LED system. Four burners give you space to cook multiple dishes at once, while the bright LEDs display power levels from 1 to 9 so you can see exactly how much heat you're using at a glance. The Hob2Hood feature connects wirelessly to your compatible extractor, automatically switching it on when you start cooking and adjusting the fan speed as you go - one less thing to think about when you're busy at the hob.
StepPower dial controls at the front let you adjust the flame precisely, with burner output from 1kw to 3.9kw for faster boiling or high-heat stir-frying. Cast iron pan supports handle heavy pots and pans, and a wok support is included for authentic Asian cooking. Electronic ignition lights the flame quickly, while the flame failure device stops gas flow if the flame goes out. This is important for peace of mind in a busy kitchen. Good design but poor quality of parts
The hob is well designed and working well so far. Got it on sale. Just bought 3 weeks ago. But the silver rim is starting to get discolored even after careful use and gentle cleaning. Not sure how long these parts will last.

Good but different.
We have noticed two things about this new AEG hob. The individual burners seem more powerful than on our previous hob of a different make. So we mostly use them turned well down. The other thing is a slight inconvenience. The pan supports are not fixed to the glass backplate, so can slide around. So we have to be careful to make sure they are in the right positions.

Smart looking hob
Had this gas hob installed a few weeks ago to replace an electric one, and we love it! The gas is very easy to control and it looks very swish and modern. Haven't used the timer or Bluetooth hood function so cant comment on that, but its there if you need it.

Style over substance
The hob looks great and seems to be made well, but unfortunately for the money it's been rather disappointing. It came with a fault which had to be repaired, which isn't great, and I don't think has really been fixed properly (time will tell). The quality of the knob mechanism feels cheap, and the cast iron grill doesn't really seat properly on the hob. Overall its a good hob, but far too expensive for what it is. Would expect better at this price point. Additionally the service provided in fixing the fault wasn't great.
