Had to replace my aeging old 35year flymo , found this one and due to technology nowadays a much lighter rechargeable battery improves the overall handling of doing the job in hand . Cant fault it in any way easy to put together .

Lightweight strimmer
Great lightweight strimmer, I always struggle having weak wrists but this is lightweight and easy to use. Cuts nice and short and has a great guard to avoid plants and shrubs. Battery power great and lasted to get the garden finished.

I have also tried Flymo helpdesk plus espares and it is proving impossible to get replacement spools for this item which has made it redundant after very limited use. Argos - this is not acceptable to sell a product that is no longer supported when it relies on new parts frequently. Note to buyers - the spool is 50mm diameter and replacements you see online are 65mm. Flymo do not even recognise this model on their parts website.
I cannot source spool replacement. Flymo just said not in stock, they do not know when they will be in stock and to try Amazon Screwfix and eBay which I have ....with no luck. Meanwhile the grass is growing!
